Though suffered a slight setback owing to Ajith’s backache, Kreedom is said to be well on track. The shoots are expected to spiral back into action after Ajith’s recovery. Directed by A.L. Vjay, Kreedom is the remake of the Malayalam movie by the same name.
Interestingly, the Malayalam Kreedom ends on a tragic note and is followed by a sequel named Chengol.Would a tragic end be entertaining enough for the Tamil fans? It is not clear as to what the director would decide about the sequel. It remains to be seen whether the Tamil Kreedom will combine both the Malayalam movies (Kreedom and Chengol) into a single package.
On the other hand, the storyline of Nanda starrer Agaram is rumored to have followed the footsteps of Kreedom. Wrapped up and ready for release, Agaram might as well receive resistance from the Kreedom stable and it is expected that the producers of Kreedom will demand for a screening of the movie before it hit the screens.
